Dr. Michael Flavius, BBA, DMin, is a seasoned retail executive, licensed clinical christian counselor, licensed chaplain, nonprofit leader, motivational speaker, and published author with a passion for servant leadership and community impact.
Alongside his corporate career, Michael volunteers his chaplaincy services across several hospitals in NJ, CT and NY, offering spiritual care and emotional support to patients, families, and staff. As a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor, Licensed Chaplain, and Doctor of Ministry in Christian Counseling, he integrates therapeutic and theological approaches to meet the holistic needs of those he serves.
He is the Founder and President of Global House of Hope, a nonprofit organization formed with his family that serves youth and families in Newark, Irvington, and the Oranges. Through free services with counseling, hospital and home visitation, notary, chaplaincy, and livestream platforms, the ministry uplifts communities with messages of faith, hope, purpose, and leadership development.
As Community Volunteer Captain for The Home Depot Foundation, Michael led projects in nine NJ locations—spearheading home renovations for veterans, beautification of parks, and improvements to school facilities.
